Making A Purchase Making A Purchase By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Garden XL web site.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Should you have any dificulties using the shopping cart, the most common problem being multiple purchases of the same product showing in the cart. Look towards the top of the page, click view basket, you can then tick the box marked remove and then click the button "update" then just start your order again.

We accept Visa/Master Card Visa Debit/Visa Delta UK Maestro/Switch Visa Electron. If you are shopping from a none UK country, place your order in the same way and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

All price shown on the website are for online automated purchases only, Phone orders will not be take excpet under extream circumstances and may incure a sure charge.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

The price on display is simply what the law calls an 'invitation to treat'. In the same way you don't have to buy goods from anyone, a retailer is under no obligation to sell you anything.

You cannot insist that a shop sells you anything at a marked price, whether or not they have made a mistake.

The law does not allow prices to be fixed and, contrary to common belief, goods are not subject to price controls.

Shipping And Handling Delivery is FREE to all UK mainland destinations, a 5 - 7 working day delivery service to Europe can be arranged typically costing £75 - £90 - price on application. Please contact us for details of other destination charges, shipping will either be using private Courier service or Royal Mail (depending on the total weight of your order). If you do not agree with the delivery charges added to your order you can cancel your order at this stage.

Zone 1 (Next Day Standard)

Mainland UK deliveries are all FREE and are 2 working days (typically Next Day). Purchases made after 1pm Thursday, during the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will not be delivered Until Tuesday the following week (Wednesday for a Bank Holiday weekend)

Zone 2 (Next Day Offshore Standard)

Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern and Southern Ireland and The Channel Isles are typically an extra £25 - £50 (exact price on application) except where we can use the Royal mail postal service.

Zone 3 (Euro Delivery Standard)

For Delivery to Most European Destinations please contact us on 0118 9403 592 or via email sales@gardenxl.com for a quotation - Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery.


Delivery of Larger and Bulk Products

Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your purchases within 48hrs (normally next day) bulky items like Large Barbecues Garden Furniture, and any Over size items can require specialised delivery services (particulary Garden Furniture Sets). Please contact us on 0118 9403 592 or email us sales@gardenxl.comi f you intend to purchase any such item to confirm delivery and stock availability.


Delivery Outside of Europe.

Deliveries to other Worldwide destinations can be arranged, though there will be an additional fee (price on application). Please contact us on 0118 9403 592 or email, sales@gardenxl.com.com for more information on these special services.

If any problems are encountered i.e. a longer delivery time is required or items are temporarily out of stock, the customer will be notified immediately and a new delivery time will be arranged. If a new schedule cannot be arranged then the customer will be offered a full refund. (Please note orders placed after 1pm on Thursday will not be delivered before the following Monday unless special arrangements are made)

Busier Period orders and Deliveries disclaimer (April to July and December inc)

Please note, whilst we make every effort to deliver your goods as quickly as possible during the busier times as stated above stock levels will start to deplete and the delivery services will be pushed to their maximum capabilities, to avoid disappointment please order your goods as early as possible.

All delivery times shown on the website are best estimations but cannot be guaranteed.

Please Note:-

ALL goods require a signature upon delivery, if you are unable to sign for it please arrange for it to be delivered to a place where it can be signed for. ( place of work or a neighbour house ) .

Please check the packaging on your goods for damage and make a note of this when signing for them, ONLY sign as, "received in good condition", if that is ACTUALLY the case. If the goods have been damaged in transit please refuse the delivery at this stage.

If you are out when our courier arrives they will leave a card, please contact the courier on the card to arrange for a convenient time for re-delivery. If the courier is unable to get a signature on the second delivery attempt they will leave a card a final time telling you where you need to go to collect your goods. Any further deliveries will require an additional payment by the customer.

Returns Policy FAULTY ITEMS
If a faulty item is delivered or it is not the item ordered, the customer will be offered a replacement. If this is not satisfactory a full refund will be offered and you will be required to contact us to pick up the item.. Faulty items must be returned within 30 days if a refund is to be issued. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel an order that has NOT been dispatched a full refund will be issued. You must phone us immediately (not email) should you wish to cancel goods as any purchases that have left our warehouse will be subject to the returns charges listed below.

If you wish to cancel an order or return any unwanted items that have allready been dispatched you must do this within 30 days of receiving the goods. You will be required to pay any return postage costs and for the original carriage of those products. You can opt to make arrangements for return yourself. If we have to arrange collection by courier most items incur a £25 + vat collection fee, original shipping is charged at £6 + vat, we will inform you if any additional costs are due for larger items. . Once returned in original condition ready for re-sale we will issue a refund minus any relevent delivery costs. Returns sould be sent to:

If you wish to exchange any items (i.e change of size/product) you will be required to inform in writing by royal mail or email, sales@gardenxl.com, and return the item to us at the following address:
